This afternoon I participated in the 8th Annual School of Education Research Symposium at Iowa State University. I created a poster titled “Videos from Industry Leaders to Improve Student Communication” in which I described the design process of my creative component, titled “The Professional Connection.” This was an excellent opportunity for students to practice presenting their research (or, in my case, design study) via poster presentation. I enjoyed learning about some of the other projects that students at Iowa State University are developing. This presentation marks the final academic presentation that I will present in my academic career at Iowa State University; I look forward to what the future brings in my professional career at Maryville University!
