On Tuesday, September 19, 2017, over 1,600 Maryville faculty, staff, and students took to the streets to help the St. Louis community in Maryville Reaches Out visiting 108 different agencies. I was part of a group that visited Gateway Pet Guardians, where we walked dogs, cleaned, and did other odd jobs around the shelter. Maryville Reaches Out is my favorite day of the year, because it’s just one example of Maryville’s commitment to making this world a better place.
