On Thursday, September 8, 2016 Gateway Pet Guardians was honored at Busch Stadium in St. Louis, Missouri thanks to Nestle Purina and the St. Louis Cardinals! On behalf of GPG, eight Program Leads took the field before the game against the Milwaukee Brewers to accept the honor, and I was able to throw the ceremonial first pitch on behalf of the leads and Gateway Pet Guardians. Catching was relief pitcher Mike Mayers, and Fredbird himself escorted me to the mound.
